Knocked through, lightened and finished for modern family life
A living and dining renovation that removed dividing walls, unified flooring and opened the rear to the garden — creating one generous, calm space for everyday living.
The challenge
Separate rooms made the ground floor feel smaller than it was. The clients wanted flow, daylight and a finish that felt consistently high quality.
Our approach
After structural design, we opened the plan, levelled floors and ran a continuous oak finish through the space. Decor and lighting were kept restrained so architecture does the talking.
The outcome
The ground floor now feels twice as welcoming. Light travels further, furniture layouts make sense, and the garden connection completes the room.
Steel, plaster and flooring junctions were finished tightly so you feel the quality underfoot and at every doorway.
