Loft Bedroom Conversion

Unused loft turned into a bright, liveable bedroom

All case studies

A loft conversion bedroom with Velux light, eaves storage and finishes chosen for comfort — proving spare roof space can become a genuine extra room, not a compromise.

The challenge

The loft was wasted volume. The family needed another bedroom without extending outwards, and they wanted it to feel like a proper room rather than an attic afterthought.

Our approach

We planned head height, stair arrival and natural light first, then fitted eaves cupboards so storage works with the roof pitch instead of fighting it.

The outcome

The loft is now a quiet, daylit bedroom with smart storage and a finished feel that matches the rest of the house.

Conversions demand careful insulation, ventilation and fire strategy. We built those into the programme so comfort is baked in, not bolted on later.
