Before
A plain, tired shower space with little character and fittings that no longer matched the rest of the home.

Shower Room Refurbishment
Bold colour, geometric tiling and contemporary fittings
A confident shower-room transformation: statement geometric tiling, Crittall-style screening and a clean wet zone designed for a sharp, modern daily routine.
The challenge
The clients wanted personality — not a plain white box — while still needing a practical shower room that would stay easy to clean and waterproof for the long term.
Our approach
We locked the layout around a generous walk-in shower, then used colour and texture deliberately: a bold tile feature, matte black metalwork and calm flooring so the room feels designed rather than busy.
The outcome
The finished shower room has presence. Guests notice it; the owners use it every day. It looks considered, sealed properly and finished with care.
Wet rooms and shower rooms succeed or fail on falls, tanking and sealing. We treated those as craft, not afterthoughts, then styled the fittings to match.

Strip & prepare
Old tiling and sanitaryware came out so substrate, waterproofing and waste positions could be reset correctly.

Tank, tile & frame
Tanking, tiling and screen framing progressed — the bold finish starting to appear before final brassware and glass.

Finished shower room
A striking contemporary shower room with geometric feature tiling, black framing and a polished, hotel-clean feel.
