Freestanding bath, brassware and a soft spa atmosphere
A full bathroom renovation designed for slow mornings and quiet evenings — freestanding bath under the window, brass fittings, sage tiling and a floating timber vanity.
The existing bathroom was clinical and uninspiring. The clients wanted a spa-like retreat that still handled family life and stayed waterproof and robust.
We centred the bath on the window light, created a generous shower zone, and chose a restrained palette of stone, sage and brass so the room feels warm rather than cold-modern.
The bathroom now feels like a destination in the house — calm, tactile and finished to a high standard.
Level changes, niche lighting and brass alignment were checked obsessively. Those details are what make a bathroom feel expensive to live with.
Project journey
Follow the same property through each stage — so you can picture how your own project could unfold with Napwood.
A dated suite with little warmth and fixtures that no longer matched the clients’ taste.
Everything came back to a clean substrate so waterproofing and new services could be set correctly.
Boarding, tanking and tiling progressed — bath position and vanity run locked in before final fittings.
A soft, luxurious bathroom with freestanding bath, brassware and carefully lit detailing.
